Joanna Snow is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mobile and founder of Joanna Snow Ministries. Joanna and I met over a decade ago while both getting our Masters in Counseling at Liberty University and have been friends ever since! She is full of love, depth, wisdom and kindness! Joanna is a mother of four and a grandmother to two, as well as being a wife, entrepreneur and go-getter! Take a moment to read through her answers!

  1. What advice would you give to other women who are wanting to live life well?

Take time for self-care like having fun, investing in friendships, and keeping a strong walk with the Lord. So often, we don't place priority on taking care of our person -- who we are -- as women. Living life well means having your best self to give to everything we do.

2. What risks are worth taking?

My first response is all of them! To me, you can't get anywhere in life that you truly want to go without taking God-led risks, risks that align with goals that you have for yourself. We hear that, but it's true. To get to where I am, I have trusted the Lord, but every moment has still been frightening.

3. When do you feel truly alive?

First would be in my time of prayer and connection with the Lord. Next would be when I'm doing what I love, which is speaking. Third would be in moments of connection with those around me.

4. What does connection in community look like for you?

It involves being intentional about the people that I spend a lot of time with. I strive to live authentically in those relationships because connection is so important. Prioritizing that time in my life and establishing and maintaining those priorities and relationships builds connections.

5. How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who loves the Lord and others
