April 2023 Butter Babe: Ashlee Parker

Ashlee has been a regular at Reney’s for a couple of years and her consistent hope and compassion are inspiring! Take a moment to read through her responses this morning!

1. What is the best way to start the day?

The best way to start the day is with puppy snuggles!

2. Who inspires you and why?

Jesus inspires me! He accepts everyone exactly as they are. Everyone needs to be more like Him.

3. What gives you hope?

Jeremiah 29:11 gives me hope. For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord! Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you Hope and a Future!

4. When do you feel truly alive?

I feel alive when I am taking care of people!

5. What would you do with a million dollars?

If I had a million dollars, I would buy a neighborhood for all of my friends and family to live in together.

6. What is something you have overcome and how?

I have overcome self doubt. I remind myself daily that I am human, I am loved, and I am capable of great things!

7. What is your definition of beautiful?

Beauty is kindness and understanding.

8. How would you like to be remembered?

I want to be remembered as someone who loved deeply was kind to everyone.
