November 2023 Butter Babe: Stephanie Jones
One of the first times Stephanie came into Reney’s Honey Butter, she said she needed a “bucket filler” gift. We had no idea what that meant, but learned that at her place of work, they give “happies” secretly to other employees as a way to “fill their buckets” and bring them encouragement! We loved that idea and were excited to have Reney’s be a “bucket filler” gift! We knew from then on, how generous and exceedingly kind Stephanie was. She is such a treasure to all who know her and we are thrilled to call her our November Butter Babe! Take a moment to be uplifted by her sweet spirit in these answers!
1.What is the best way to start the day?
The best way to start the day is to wake up with no alarm. Of course, this only happens on the weekend! I enjoy drinking my coffee with my cats curled up around my legs as I wait for my family to wake up.
2. What advice would you give to other women who are wanting to live life well?
My advice to other women who are wanting to live life well is to look for something positive in every situation. Try not to focus on the negative. Instead, focus on a positive outcome, no matter how small.
3. What is your life verse?
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
4. What does being a Butter Babe mean to you?
Being a Butter Babe means that I love supporting small businesses, especially Reney’s! One of my favorite things to do is to stop in on the way to school for a delicious blueberry muffin with cinnamon butter. I am always greeted by name with a smile, like I am their favorite customer! I also love picking up a treat to give coworkers in a bag labeled with an uplifting message!
5. What are you passionate about and why?
I am passionate about teaching kids to read! I love my job as an ARI Literacy Specialist, and I enjoy working side by side with teachers to help students have success with reading.
6. How would you like to be remembered?
I would like to be remembered as being kind and compassionate. I believe you can be kind to everyone you meet. No matter how someone may treat you, you can always be polite and smile. You never know what they may be going through.
